SMS / Text Message Opt-In
How Work Nest staff consent to receive text messages
About Work Nest messaging
Work Nest (worknestpro.com) is a workforce scheduling and communication platform used by residential building employees and management teams. With an employee's consent, Work Nest sends operational text messages about work schedules, open shifts available for coverage, shift claims, time-off request updates, account notifications, and building announcements. Messages are strictly transactional and work-related. Work Nest does not send marketing or promotional texts, and does not sell or share mobile opt-in data with third parties.
How employees opt in
Consent is collected inside the Work Nest app in two places: during employee onboarding, and at any time afterward in the staff portal under Settings → Text Message Notifications. In both cases the SMS checkbox is unchecked by default and the employee must actively check it to opt in. Consent is never required to create an account, use the app, or as a condition of employment. The exact opt-in shown to employees is reproduced below.
