Terms of Service
Last updated: July 7, 2026
The service
Work Nest is workforce management software for residential buildings: staff directories, schedules, leave tracking, and related tools. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
Accounts and responsibilities
Building administrators are responsible for the accuracy of the employee information they enter and for having the right to store it. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. You may not use the service unlawfully, attempt to access other buildings' data, or interfere with the operation of the service.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual cycle after a 14-day free trial. A payment method is required to start a trial; you will not be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel before then at no cost. Plans can be changed or cancelled at any time from Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
Plan limits
Each plan covers one building and a maximum number of employees. We may adjust features and pricing with notice; changes take effect at your next renewal.
Your data
You retain ownership of the data you enter. We process it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data; on account termination we will delete it within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.
Availability and disclaimer
We work to keep the service reliable, but it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Work Nest is a record-keeping and scheduling tool; it does not provide legal, payroll, or HR compliance advice, and administrators remain responsible for complying with employment laws and collective bargaining agreements applicable to their staff.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Termination
You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above and, where appropriate, notified in the app. Questions? Reach us through the contact page.
